The Police Museum of Cyprus





This is a unique place where visitors can immerse themselves in the history and activities of the police forces of Cyprus over many decades. Here, a rich collection of artifacts, photographs, documents, and equipment is presented, allowing visitors to delve into the atmosphere of police work, learn about its evolution, and follow its important moments and achievements. Additionally, the museum offers interactive exhibits that allow visitors to better understand and appreciate the complex aspects of police work, as well as their role in society.
This is an interesting place not only for those interested in history and law enforcement agencies, but also for anyone who wants to learn more about Cyprus's cultural and social heritage. Located at the intersection of Lemessos Avenue and RIK Avenue, the Police Museum of Cyprus was previously closed to the public until 2003, only accessible to students of the Police Academy. Now it is open to all interested parties. The exhibition space consists of nine halls and is divided into two large sections. Here, the history of Cypriot law enforcement agencies is presented, and exhibits related to unsolved, mysterious, or particularly cruel crimes are kept.
